We are so excited to have Spencer return to AK and help us prepare for our first official DVG Trial. If your looking to get into the sport or a seasoned handler ready to take the field Spencer can help you and your dog achieve your training goals.
Spencer Stevens is a certified regional level helper. He has been certified in USCA and holds a current certification as a DVG helper. He prefers the training aspect of helper work. He states it allows more freedom and is more engaging. He started training dogs in this sport when he was 18 years old. He has owned German Shepherds, Belgain Malinois, and Bouviers. When he isn't training dogs he spends his free time woodworking and fixing up his property

Intro to IGP Demonstration & Auction Event
Have you ever wondered what IGP/Schutzhund is? Come out and join us for our first event of the year. During the event we will be demonstrating 2 of the 3 phases of IGP, Obedience & Protection.
OBEDIENCE:
Obedience is the foundation for everything we do in Schutzhund.
Focused Heeling
Dumbbell retrieve on a flat and over a 1 meter jump.
Recall over an A-frame

Schutzhund Protection is all obedience based and our trial routine consists of:
